The Building Organizational Capability course is a highly interactive class in which students will learn about the core elements of the CMMI V3.0 model and the 8 specialist domain areas that it now covers. You will learn how CMMI can be used to deliver genuine business value by focusing on improving your organization’s capability. The course is delivered through a combination of exercises, lectures and class discussions where model content is explored through shared experiences and real-world examples from both your instructor and your fellow students.

Successful completion of this course will give you one attempt at the CMMI Practitioner exam, which if passed will grant you the CMMI Practitioner certification enabling you to demonstrate and market your commitment to excellence in capability improvement. It is also a pre-requisite for participation on a CMMI appraisal team and provides the necessary foundational knowledge needed to go on and take more advanced CMMI Training courses.
