This follows on from the introductory “Foundations of Capability” course. In this course, you will learn how the CMMI can be used to build capability in the area of service delivery and management. The course will show how the core material introduced in the Foundations course can be interpreted for service delivery activities and introduces additional model content specifically targeted at the services domain.

Building Service Excellence is a 1-day course that follows the prerequisite Foundations of Capability course. This is an introductory course that provides an overview of the services practices of the model. Attendees will use a set of learning objectives and “real world” exercises to gain an understanding of the services view and the business value that it provides. This course is conducted virtually via Zoom and all attendees must have audio and video capability for the duration of the class.
