What do I need for this course?

Each student is required to have taken Foundations of Capability  before taking this course. This course is composed of lectures and class exercise with time allotted for participant questions and discussion. The format of the course requires that students actively participate throughout the duration of the course without missing any class time.

This course cannot be used as a prerequisite for any advanced CMMI training course.

    Building Development Excellence is a 1-day course that follows the prerequisite Foundations of Capability course. This is an introductory course that provides an overview of the development practices of the model. Attendees will use a set of learning objectives and “real world” exercises to gain an understanding of the development view and the business value that it provides. This course is conducted virtually via Zoom and all attendees must have audio and video capability for the duration of the class.
