Holder of a Master's of Software Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, Nuno has been a certified CMMI instructor for more than 10 years. Nuno specializes in applying Agile methods in association with CMMI and has been involved in large transformation projects for companies in different industries: public administration, ecommerce, financial and security.

Conference Track: Leveraging Tools for Greater Capability
When thinking about implementing processes that adhere to CMMI, organizations look for tools and methods that will allow them to increase performance. In this presentation, you will learn that by using DevOps methods and tools (specially automated ones) CMMI can also be intensified. DevOps is not just a method, but rather a mindset, where development and operations work together towards delivering value to the client. So, with this objective in mind, this session will explore strategies like delivery pipelines, strong configuration management principles, and infrastructure-as-code, and how they enhance the role that CMMI can have in an organization's performance.
