About

Mike is a Principal Consultant focusing on enhancing business operations and improving business performance.  He is a Lead Appraiser with the Medical Device Discovery Appraisal Program and has led or participated in nine of the pilot medical device evaluations.  As a partner with Performance and Methods (P&M) Consulting, LLC, Mike has supported multiple initiatives focused on providing consultation and assisting corporations in meeting their business performance objectives and CMMI appraisal goals.   
With over 30 years of applied Systems Engineering and technical leadership roles through the entire development lifecycle, Mike’s has experience in System Integration, Concept of Operations, Requirements Analysis, Architecture and Design, Development, Test and Transition for DoD and Intel Contractors.   Mike has lead activities for Lockheed Martin Corporation, working policies and process command media, process compliance via audits and process improvement activities. He developed and managed compliance to multiple process methodologies including CMMI DEV, CMMI SVC, RMM, Agile, ISO 9001/AS9100, ISO 20000 and ISO 27001. 
 
Mike was a member of the CMMI V2.0 Core Team and co-lead the development of the CMMI V2.0 Adoption Guide.  Mike began his Process Improvement and Capability Maturity Model (CMM) focus beginning with SE-CMM. He has supported multiple assessments using previous versions of CMMI DEV and CMMI SVC and current CMMI V2.0. 
  
Mike has a BS in Electrical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University.
