SPEAKER PRESENTATION

AMM (Analytics Maturity Model) Based on DMM Model: Trials Experiences

Conference Track: Managing Your Data for Peak Performance

A recent study proposed an INFORMS Analytics Maturity Model (AMM) utilizing the best practices of CMMI Institute's Data Management Maturity (DMM) Model. This presentation provides trial appraisal experiences of the proposed model, including a brief explanation of the model practices, OU (Organization Units), AMM process area (PA) selections, appraisal results, and lessons learned. This session will also address graph-theoretic analytics of the DMM structure based on a PA relationship. The analytics results include calling and called PAs, centrality and closeness of PAs, and “IF THEN” rules of PA co-occurrences in "Related Process Areas”, which provided some implications for AMM PA selection in the trial appraisal.
